very nice beds in the rooms and a large recroom with basketball hoops volleyball net and more with a decent size pool
I have been coming here all my life. Coming back as an adult I find it really bothersome that there are kids screaming in the pool before 8am. I understand this is a very family and child centered hotel, but when most of the rooms are right by the pool I think parents and hotel staff shouldn’t let these kids be that loud so early. I haven’t been to any hotel that opens the pool that early or allows people to be so loud in common areas before 10am. Besides that I love the rooms, and I love the accommodations here.
The location just off I94 is very convenient and it's easy to get to. The hotel very old fashioned but it's kept up nicely. Room had a Keurig machine and a dehumidifier. Shower was good towels very fluffy clean and beds comfortable. The layout of hotel is kind of confusing?? But that's really my only complaint. It was nice having a restaurant connected to hotel. I also appreciated the free paper and a real fireplace in the lobby. Service great here no issues stayed for two nights and felt safe and comfortable.
Rooms have been updated and not too bad. I would 100% stay here again. Not having breakfast included was a bummer but the menu looked much better than any Holiday Inn Express.
Comfortable beds, clean, pool and hot tub were great! Nice sitting areas with tables for hanging out as a group. We didn't have kids with but seeing how much fun other families were having it is a great destination for a family. Very nice having a good restraunt attached to the hotel.
Rooms - my room, at least - is pretty dated. BUT, it's clean. AND, David on the front desk is a godsend. Got in late last night after a long trip, and there were problems- on my end -with the reservation. David cleared it up in a jiffy, and he got me a room. Efficient, capable service isn't always what I encounter out on the road. People like David make business travel tolerable. Also, the location is great, right by the highway.
Outdated but clean rooms. Bed was comfy. Staff its super friendly and accommodating. We live local, but like taking our grandkids here for a little staycation in the cold weather months . Pool and hot tubs, basketball and volleyball court to run on make it perfect for kids. Willy T’s restaurant on site is really fun. My only wish is they an a few newly updated rooms, I would gladly pay for that.
Clean room. Carpet feels a bit unpleasant on bare feet though. Bathroom is stocked with Dove shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The hotel itself is a bit of maze with it's odd layout, but still easy enough to find where you are going. Pool area is actually an entire rec area with a pool, two hot tubs, game room, fitness room, and indoor volleyball court(on carpet). Nice restaurant attached. Overall a decent hotel. I do wish Holiday Inn would provide a free breakfast like the majority of others.
